Dr.Jataveda Mahapatra

Dr.Mahapatra is a general adult psychiatrist having trained and worked in psychiatry in the UK and Australia. He has more than 15 years of experience in managing a variety of psychiatric conditions. Apart from adequate expertise in managing general psychiatric conditions, his special interests include difficult to treat anxiety disorders, depression, bipolar disorder and variants, first episode psychosis and ADHD. 

Dr.Mahapatra takes pride in developing a collaborative rapport with individuals seeking treatment and feels that true recovery lies in individuals gaining better understanding of themselves and their situation. His practice is based on thorough assessment and appropriate use of therapeutic techniques combined with careful prescription of medication. He has published on the Cochrane database and presented posters internationally. He has taught students at the University of Leeds, UK and health services in Australia. 

Dr.Ranganath Rattehalli

Dr Rang Rattehalli is a Consultant Psychiatrist with more than 15 years’ experience of working in Australia and the United Kingdom. After attaining “Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery” (MBBS) from Bangalore University, India in 2000, he completed his Psychiatry Training in the United Kingdom before moving to Australia. His expertise in treating resistant psychiatric disorders including Depression, Anxiety, OCD, Adjustment Disorders, PTSD and ADHD using a combination of psychological approaches and medications has been well recognised in the Brisbane Region. Considering his vast interest in research and teaching, Dr Rattehalli was credited with an honorary A/Prof position at Griffith University School of Medicine.

He is a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (RANZCP) and a Fellow of the Royal College of Psychiatrists (RCPsych) in London. He is accredited in Queensland and Tasmania to assess Permanent Impairment from Psychiatric Disorders and is able to take instructions from solicitors, insurers, government bodies or the courts to provide medico-legal reports on a variety of matters.

Dr.Sayananta Mukherjee

Dr Mukherjee is a General adult Psychiatrist. He did his primary medical qualification MBBS from India. He has done specialist training in Psychiatry in Adelaide and Brisbane and is a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists. He has worked in various hospitals in Australia and in private Psychiatric Practice.  He has a collaborative style of working with patients to optimise treatment and benefit to his patients. Apart from having many years of experience in treating general Psychiatric conditions like anxiety, depression, Bipolar Disorder, Personality Disorders, PTSD and ADHD, he takes special interest in OCD and complex mood disorders.

Dr. Tarun Sehgal

Dr Sehgal has worked in Mental Health for more than two decades. He has worked as a Senior Consultant Psychiatrist and Divisional Director in a busy public health service and has been a part-time private psychiatrist for over seven years. He has obtained specialist qualifications from the UK and Australia through the Royal College of Psychiatrists. He completed higher training in General Adult, Rehabilitation and Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry. He has also completed a Master of Science in Neuroscience from Kings College, London.

He is interested in managing mood disorders, adult ADHD, PTSD, medicolegal work and early psychosis. He is also interested in mental health service development, awareness, prevention and medicolegal work. He also provides Independent Medicolegal Examinations and reports. Dr Sehgal would like to see a society free from the stigma of mental health disorders. Dr Sehgal has been instrumental in developing an upcoming smart application called SOLH WELLNESS to create a better, healthy and more supportive system for everyone’s mental health needs.

Dr. Milind Pant

Dr. Pant is an experienced Consultant Psychiatrist having worked over 20 years in Psychiatry in the United Kingdom and Australia. He has obtained specialist qualifications from the UK and Australia through the Royal College of Psychiatrists. Dr. Pant completed his Psychiatry Training in the United Kingdom and worked as a Consultant Psychiatrist in the NHS before moving to Australia in 2014. Dr. Pant served as a Consultant Psychiatrist for Metro South Addictions & Mental Health Services at Queensland Health and also worked as a Clinical director for community services.

Dr. Pant has now transitioned into Private practice and brings a wealth of expertise to his multifaceted role.  He has a special interest in managing Depression, Bipolar affective disorders, adult ADHD, PTSD and Anxiety Disorders. Dr. Pant holds accreditations to assess Permanent Impairment in Queensland and Tasmania and takes instructions from solicitors and law firms. He also provides Independent Medicolegal Examinations and reports for Workcover Queensland.

Dr. Kailash Kedia

Dr Kedia finished his medical training from the reputed BJ Medical College, Pune, India. He then went on to do extensive psychiatry training, comprised of three years of MD Psychiatry followed by three years of Senior Residency from an apex neuropsychiatry Institute in Delhi. He moved to Brisbane in 2013 and completed all the requirements to qualify as a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists. He has been working as a consultant psychiatrist with Queensland Health since 2015. Dr Kedia is also a senior lecturer with the University of Queensland.

Dr Kedia has extensive experience treating a wide range of mental health conditions, including Anxiety & Depressive disorders, Bipolar Affective Disorder, ADHD, Schizophrenia & other psychotic disorders and Personality Disorders. Dr Kedia conducts a thorough assessment to formulate a management plan using a biopsychosocial and lifestyle model. He works collaboratively with General Practitioners to provide integrated care.
